This privacy policy applies to the CoHunt app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Diamondback Consulting LLC (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a subscription-based service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".

Information Collection and Use
The Service Provider is committed to protecting your privacy and collecting only the minimum information necessary to provide the Application's services.
Account Information
When you create an account, the Application collects:
- Your email address (for account management and billing purposes)
- Your name (if provided)
- Your profile photo (if provided through Google or Apple sign-in)
This information is used solely for:
- Account authentication and management
- Billing and subscription management
- Essential service communications
Automatically Collected Information
For service improvement purposes only, the Application may collect:
- Crash reports and diagnostic data (to improve Application stability)
- Basic device information (operating system version, app version)
Location Data
The Application accesses your device's location data ONLY when you explicitly grant permission and ONLY while using the app's mapping features. Location data is:
- Used solely for displaying your position on the map
- Enabling trail recording and navigation features
- Never stored on our servers
- Only shared with other users through peer-to-peer connections when you explicitly choose to share your activity
Data We Do NOT Collect
The Service Provider explicitly does NOT collect:
- Your hunting activities or trails
- Your messages or communications with other users
- Your contacts or social connections
- Usage analytics
- Advertising identifiers
- Any data transmitted through peer-to-peer connections
Peer-to-Peer Data Sharing
The Application uses peer-to-peer technology for communication and activity sharing. This means:
- Messages and shared activities are transmitted directly between devices
- No message content passes through or is stored on our servers
- The Service Provider has no access to peer-to-peer communications
- Data shared between users remains entirely under user control
- When offline, data may be transmitted via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)
Third Party Services
The Application utilizes the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:
Data Storage and Security
- Account information is stored securely using industry-standard encryption
- All data transmission uses secure HTTPS protocols
- Peer-to-peer communications are end-to-end encrypted through Berty
- Local app data is stored on your device and is not accessible to the Service Provider
- We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data
Transparency Report
As of the Last Updated date of this Privacy Policy:
- We have never received a National Security Letter
- We have never received a request under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA)
- We have never been subject to any court order requiring us to disclose user information in a manner that would prevent us from notifying affected users
- We have never installed any backdoors or been asked to compromise our encryption
- Our peer-to-peer infrastructure remains fully end-to-end encrypted without any government-mandated weaknesses
This statement will be reviewed and updated with each Privacy Policy revision. The absence or modification of any of these statements in future versions may constitute notice to users.
Data Retention and Deletion
- Account information is retained only while your account is active
- You may request complete deletion of your account and all associated data at any time
- Upon account deletion, all your data is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days
- Peer-to-peer data shared with other users cannot be deleted by us as we do not have access to it
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct any inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your account and data
- Withdraw consent for data processing at any time

How to Delete Your Account
You can delete your CoHunt account and all associated data in two ways:
- In-App Deletion: Open the CoHunt app, navigate to "My Account" in the menu, scroll to the bottom, and tap "Delete Account". Follow the prompts to confirm deletion.
- Email Request: Send an email to support@cohunt.app with the subject "Account Deletion Request" from the email address associated with your account.
Upon receiving your deletion request:
- We will verify your identity to protect your account
- Your account will be immediately deactivated
- All your data will be permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days
- You will receive confirmation when the deletion is complete
Please note that peer-to-peer data already shared with other users cannot be deleted as it resides on their devices and we have no access to it.
Children's Privacy
The Application is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will immediately delete such information from our servers.
International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and maintained on servers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction. By using the Application, you consent to such transfers.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:
- Posting the new Privacy Policy in the Application
- Updating the "Last Updated" date
- Sending you an email notification for material changes
Continued use of the Application after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
