Information Collection and Use
The Service Provider is committed to protecting your privacy. The Application is designed to collect as little information as possible. We do not collect or store any personally identifiable information from our users.
Account Information
The Application uses Firebase Anonymous Authentication, which means:
- No email address, name, or profile photo is collected
- Your account is identified only by an anonymous, randomly generated ID
- The Service Provider cannot identify who you are from your account
Subscription management is handled through RevenueCat, which links purchases to your anonymous account ID. The Service Provider does not have access to your payment details, name, or any other personal information through this process.
Automatically Collected Information
For service improvement purposes only, the Application may collect:
- Crash reports and diagnostic data (to improve Application stability)
- Basic device information (operating system version, app version)
Location Data
The Application accesses your device's location data ONLY when you explicitly grant permission and ONLY while using the app's mapping features. Location data is:
- Used solely for displaying your position on the map
- Enabling trail recording and navigation features
- Never stored on our servers
- Only shared with other users through peer-to-peer connections when you explicitly choose to share your activity
Data We Do NOT Collect
The Service Provider explicitly does NOT collect:
- Your name, email address, or profile photo

- Your contacts or social connections
- Usage analytics

- Any data transmitted through peer-to-peer connections
- Any information that could be used to personally identify you
Peer-to-Peer Data Sharing
The Application uses peer-to-peer technology for communication and activity sharing. This means:
- Messages and shared activities are transmitted directly between devices
- No message content passes through or is stored on our servers
- The Service Provider has no access to peer-to-peer communications
- Data shared between users remains entirely under user control
- When offline, data may be transmitted via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)
Third Party Services
The Application utilizes the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:
- Firebase - For anonymous authentication and crash reporting only
- RevenueCat - For subscription and purchase management
- Mapbox - For map display functionality
Data Storage and Security
- No personally identifiable information is stored on our servers
- All data transmission uses secure HTTPS protocols
- Peer-to-peer communications are end-to-end encrypted through Berty
- Local app data is stored on your device and is not accessible to the Service Provider
- We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data
